Office is FiNiShEd (applause)

Hello supplies it's nice to be able to see all of you. Thanks IKEA!!! Love the vertical magnetic strip so fun!
My craftspace... cricut and sewing machine will now be so much easier to use, no more messing up the dining room table :).
Ellie's work space... What's that... "Did I paint the table to match the room?" Of course I did!!!

A place for family fun... if the games worth having we have it!
This is the room where presents will be wrapped as well.

Build in desk, didn't brian do a great job??? LOVE IT

A view of the computer area, check out the new light fixture above. I am sitting in this space right now!!!

I was amazed to discover that Ian can read, write, and spell!

Oh... I love you too Ian!

...and I love my Ellie girl!

The creative me comes out in the form of new nursing cover!

After buying my first nursing cover from Bebe Au Lait for $30 I decided to try my hand at making a nursing cover using fabric and supplies I already had at home! So this is my final product it turned out great I think and best of all it was free! Here I am modeling look number one. I added embellishments to this side to cover up a spot where I accidently cut the fabric (grrr)!

Look number two!

Here is a close up of some embellishments I added to one side for fun and also the fabric on each side!

I want to make this project completely from things I already had in our house. I used a piece of tough plastic from a plastic box in our recycling pile for the boning so that I can peak at Ian when he is nursing. I used toy rings instead of D rings from the craft store, they work great and they were free!

You can also attach toys to the rings and use it as a tummy time blanket!

Ellie is on a total horsey kick!

Tender moments from today... we finally captured that smile!

Decorating the Princess House

When Ellie woke up from her nap yesterday I had this "princess house" cut out and ready for her to paint. She literally squealed with delight! Today we went to a bouncy place. I thought it would wear her out and she would take a good nap... two hours later guess who is refusing to sleep! A little too exciting I guess.

Watching sister paint the princess house... happy as usual (well until dinnertime, that is when he is fussiest).
A very patriotic princess house.
